Over the last few years the owners have tried hard to find a way for the Jinney Ring to continue and grow with all the changes around it but, sadly, market conditions in both retail and hospitality have not been such that a suitable solution could be found.
‘Time and tide waits for no man’ therefore Amanda and Malcolm Sunter have now taken the very difficult decision to downsize the business to make it manageable with a partial retirement being achieved.
Many of the long standing craft units remain here and some new more service oriented businesses have joined the Centre, these include a small gym, hair dresser and a dementia day-care business. For more detail please look at the ‘Explore’ section of the website.
The farmhouse restaurant has changed to become an ‘Art Café’ operating 4 days per week and selling light food and drinks and it now houses local art work and gifts. The large gift shop is now entirely given over to antiques.
The gardens are now fully closed but the ducks and increasing amount of wildlife can be viewed from the café.
