Site & Visitor Information

Worcestershire

On Demand…

Don’t drive? Getting to The Jinney Ring is now easier!

Worcestershire on Demand offers an alternative transport option to fixed route public transport services. It helps people make essential local journeys within a defined area, and offers residents and visitors transport within a zoned area and to specific places of interest outside of the zone.

The service can also provide journeys to connecting transport services, such as other local buses or to local train stations.

Worcestershire on Demand allows passengers to book on to the service from an app. Passengers can request transport for a specific time or to arrive at their destination at a specific time and this will give a selection of boarding times available. Transport will collect the passenger from a designated pick-up point and will drop off at the required location. Unlike fixed route bus services, the service is flexible depending on the destinations and collection points.

FREE

Admittance

There are no entrance charges or fees applicable for the craft centre.

car

Parking

Our car park is FREE for the use of our craft centre customers who are on site during opening hours. It is locked after closing time.

We ask you not to use the car park unless you are specifically visiting our centre.

On busy days we have limited space and you will be acting to the detriment of our businesses by using us in this way. Cars are parked at your own risk.

Coach

Visits

We welcome coaches and groups (more than 10 people) but ask for you to book in with us before your visit. This allows us to ensure staffing levels are correct and that we have no car parking constraints.

We will also supply you with parking information for your driver to ensure easy disembarkation and parking. In the interests of your safety and other road traffic, please never allow your driver to park on the main road outside the site to disembark.

*Please note, from jan our Restaurant will become the Artist Cafe and will be open Thurs, Fri & Sat, 11am-3pm*

Brit Stops &

Motorhomes

We welcome all Brit Stop members providing you have the current year’s Brit Stop book. Our expectation is that you visit our craft units and restaurant during your stay. Please note we are not a registered camping site.

If you are not a member and are interested in joining with your motorhome, please visit their website. Click here for the Brit Stops website

For all NON Brit Stop members, a stopover with us will be charged at £10 per van, this applies when you arrive and/or leave during site opening times with the expectation you visit our craft units and restaurant.

If you are only here for a single night stop over and are not planning to visit our businesses the charge is £20 per van.

Disability

Access

Our craft centre is mainly on ground level. We have disabled access to most downstairs areas. The units are all located off from a narrow corridor and some of them have narrow access and/or small entry steps. Generally most areas can be accessed by wheelchair but you may need to seek assistance from the craft unit holder (which they are more than happy to give).

The Restaurant/Artist Cafe has ramps in and out of it and good flooring for moving about. Assistance may be required at the servery counter (please ask the staff).

The large Gift Shop (Antiques Centre from January 8th) on the ground floor has a ramp to reach a raised area inside, but access to the upstairs is not possible in a wheelchair.

The site has a wheelchair available for visitors; this are available on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

We have a full disabled toilet on-site, as well as a semi-ambulant toilet (in the Restaurant ladies’ toilet). Disabled car parking is very close to the front of the Centre.

Food Allergies, Intolerances &

Special Dietary Requirements

We recognise that there are many reasons for dietary constraints and they differ from person to person. We are familiar with the most common of these restrictions, whether they are food allergies and intolerances, such as dairy, shellfish, nut and gluten, or special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan and being pregnant.

If you have any allergies please notify the counter or waiting staff (as applicable.)

We also provide gluten free and vegan cakes.

DOGS

On Our Site

As an animal loving venue, dogs are welcome on our site as long as they are on leads and under tight control at all times.

However, dogs not allowed into the Art Café.

(We have run trials in various areas previously, sadly it did not work for food hygiene and staff/customer safety reasons).

We have tie-up points at the front of the Restaurant and water bowls are also available upon request and staff are happy to refill at any time.

The Antiques Centre; Craft Units and Service businesses apply their own rules around dogs so please check before going in.

The exceptions to the above are for Guide Dogs or Assistance Dogs.

Helping the

Environment

Jinney Ring Craft Centre is committed to preserving the environment. As such, we will no longer be purchasing plastic straws and the plastics cups available in our restaurant will be sourced exclusively from recycled materials. We currently operate a number of recycling schemes here at the Jinney Ring – notably our compost system, in which organic waste is broken down and used to fertilise our gardens.

Bikes &

Cyclists

Cyclists are welcome at the Jinney Ring, and we provide a nice break from your journey through the many lovely country roads around us.

We do not have bike racks, but are happy for you to leave your bikes in the courtyard.

We are also happy to refill your water bottles – just ask.

credit cards

We accept all major credit and debit cards on site. Two notable exceptions to this are American Express and Diners Club which are not accepted.

*Our Art Café is now CARD ONLY*

cctv

We have CCTV cameras throughout the site for security reasons and to help us with site management.
