Our Farmhouse Restaurant

The daytime restaurant at the Jinney Ring is servery style with a seating capacity of 120 people. It is normally open all day, 7 days a week (subject to seasonal variation), serving a wide variety of homemade lunches, cakes and puddings.

Café/Restaurant

Service

Our Farmhouse Restaurant has changed its service style. It is still order at the counter, but you will do this after acquiring a table and with your subsequent table number. Your food will then be served to your table.

The Farmhouse Restaurant/Café is open every day 10:00 – 4:30pm (subject to seasonal variation).

We serve breakfast baps/toast and salads made to order (order from the counter) until 11.15 am. Lunches are served between 12 – 2:30pm (3pm at weekends). We now have a Light Bites section which runs from 12-3.45pm. Coffees/teas, snacks and cake are available throughout the day.

We can take general lunch bookings for groups of 9 or more. This requires the whole party to have lunch and a deposit of £5pp to be taken. This will be deducted from your total bill on the day. You can cancel for members of your party up until 3pm on the day before the booking. After this point, each cancelled head will be charged the £5 deposit fee.

Children’s Menu options are available.

For example: Sausage, chips & Beans or a Small Jacket Potato.

We also offer a Children’s Lunchbox. This may include:
Ham Sandwich, Pom Bears, Satsuma or Apple and a Fruit Shoot

Special Occasions

If you would like to book a special lunch party with us we do offer a booked table for parties of 9 adults or more.
(We also have a private room available for larger groups).

The menu will be based on the menu of the day on the counter but will be served to your table which will be dressed for the occasion. The menu will be a fixed price for either 2 or 3 courses and include coffee.

Food Allergies, Intolerances &

Special Dietary Requirements

Dietary Constraints:
We recognise there are many reasons for dietary constraints and they differ from person to person. We are familiar with the most common allergies or intolerances, such as dairy, shellfish, nut and gluten, or special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan and pregnancy.

If you are following a vegan diet and would like a hot lunch from the counter, please call us the day before your visit to advise us.We also offer gluten free and vegan cakes.

If you have any allergies please notify the counter staff or waiting staff (where applicable.)

Allergen Statement:
The Jinney Ring Restaurant takes the safety of its customers as its highest priority, with this in mind we feel it is of paramount importance to let all customers know our position on allergens in our kitchen. If you suffer from an allergy or need to provide food for any person with an allergy, it is of the utmost importance you recognise this statement and, that you share this information with the person who has requested the meal.

The Jinney Ring kitchen operates in an environment where all allergens are present and in regular use. While we make every effort to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any food item we make is FREE of any specific allergen.

For customers with serious allergies, it is very important to recognise that our food may not be suitable to eat.

Desserts, Cakes and more Desserts!

Our cooks love to experiment and make lots of different desserts – there is always something to make your mouth water and tempt you away from that strict diet! We make all of our cakes and desserts in our own kitchens from scratch, and also generally have some vegan, gluten free and diabetic variations available. You can also order desserts and cakes to take away or for special occasions. We can make personalised birthday and anniversary cakes as well as many other dishes.

Birthday Parties,

Ladies Lunches, etc.

We are always happy to discuss special parties or events during the daytime (or for larger groups in the evenings too).

For the daytime we have a small private room adjacent to the restaurant that can be used or other options elsewhere in the building which can give you just what you want!

Please e-mail, telephone or ask at our restaurant counter to explore the options.
