Restaurant Staff

Temporary Part Time Position that could lead to permanent
(at least until end January 2017 which is maternity cover)

Counter and front of house work
Kitchen and wash-up work
Clearing in restaurant

2-3 days per week incl one weekend day.
Approx hours: minimum 20 per week. Finish time 5:30pm

Pay: £7.50/hour (Over 22's rate).

Applicants need to be thorough, systematic and professional in regard to their work and also to be flexible and reliable in attendance/approach. Applicants must be at least 18 years old (serving alcohol). Experience preferred but not essential.

Restaurant Staff - Weekends

We are recruiting for a weekend staff position the work includes:

" Front counter serving
" Till work
" Clearing Tables
" Wash up

Saturday and/or Sundays as required
(More hours available in holiday periods)

Must be 16 years old or older, some experience an advantage but not essential.

Pay is dependent on age and experience. (Junior rate is £5.00/hr.)

Chef/Cook Opportunities

Do you want to work in a well equipped kitchen in a beautiful rural location, and practice and develop your catering skills as part of a flexible team?

We have a range of full and part time opportunities for Chef/Cooks at different stages of their careers. Our busy Farmhouse kitchen which operates 7 days per week and some evenings and caters for a very wide range of events and activities from Buffet to BBQ and Wakes to Weddings..

Applicants must be flexible in approach and able to work on weekends and/or evenings to suit our seasonal events schedule.

You will work for either the Daytime Restaurant Manager or the Head Chef (depending on shift patterns). Following initial training you will be responsible for devising menus and running the daytime kitchen as well as supporting a wide range of events.

Hours: various

Pay: depends on experience + Lunch, Pension and Shop discounts.
Training and development opportunities will be actively encouraged and supported.

The ideal candidates will have good all-round cooking experience, preferably including baking; a good understanding of food hygiene and above all have a passion for food.

The successful applicants will also have had experience working in a busy environment.
